Levels of Membership
- Chapter Members are practitioners of any specialty or discipline involved in multi-professional critical care. Chapter Member shall have one vote on any matter on which Chapter Members are entitled to vote by law, and shall enjoy all rights and privileges of the organization. Chapter membership in this Corporation is not transferable or assignable. At least 60% of the Chapter Members must be full, SCCM members.
- Associate Chapter Members are individuals who are enrolled in training programs that relate to critical care medicine. Each Associate Chapter Members may attend the annual education meetings and shall have all rights and privileges of Chapter Members, except they may not vote, attend corporate business meetings except by invitation, or hold office. Associate Chapter membership in this Corporation is not transferable or assignable.

If you are interested in Chapter Membership or Associate Chapter Membership, please request an application form from SCCM headquarters. Applicants for Associate Chapter Membership will be asked to provide suitable documentation of their training status. Chapter membership may be renewed annually upon payment of dues. Associate Chapter Members, upon completion of training, are elevated to full Chapter Membership.

Go to http://store.sccm.org and log in with your member ID and password.
Search for “SOCAL” and click on “Details” under “SOCAL Chapter Membership”. You will see the timeline of your new membership under “Term”.
Add to cart and click on “Pay Now” to complete the purchase. Note: your SOCAL Chapter membership dues may be pro-rated to line up with your national membership renewal dates
For brand new members who would like to join the SOCAL Chapter only
Create a new profile at: https://store.sccm.org/Profile/CreateProfile.aspx
Once this is created, you will receive an email with your username (this also serves as your membership number).
Log in using your username (member ID) and password.
Go to the membership store at http://store.sccm.org.
Search the store for “SOCAL Chapter” and click on “Details” under “SOCAL Chapter Membership”. You will see the timeline of your new membership under “Term”.
