March 2025 Education Committee Notes

We had our Education Committee Meeting on Monday, March 17th, at 3pm. Several things were discussed, highlights included below:
- Two future educational activities are planned: pharmacy resident capstone project on Wednesday, June 4th, at 6pm. Event will take place at The Seabird Ocean Resort and Spa, located at 101 Mission Ave, Oceanside, CA, 92054. The next event is the SCCM SoCal Annual Symposium. This will take place on Friday, September 26th, from approximately 9am to 3pm, at The Cove @ UCI 5270 California Ave # 100 Irvine , CA 92617. Agenda and submission for continuing education for both events are in progress. We are also looking for corporate sponsors and working to finalize speakers for both.
- Education Committee welcomes Olena Svetlov as co-chair of Education Committee. She has been a long contributor to both our SoCal Chapter and the national organization.
- Education Committee Meetings occur 4th Monday of every other month, more frequent meeting may be needed depending on planned events. Next meeting scheduled for Monday, April 28th at 2pm. Zoom link will be created, invitations to be sent out.
